The supporters of Zalduondo FC booed when Hostalric was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Titos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, Hostalric was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Arraz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marino Sauca in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lano Litago saved Hostalric from getting behind. Ugutz De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marino Sauca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lano Litago having to interfere. If Marino Sauca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrei Titos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Zalduondo FC's Eberardo Casas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Zalduondo FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 30 in the game by Eder Morera from a close distance when the talented Eberardo Casas managed to make a qualified save. Zalduondo FC's players were relieved. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mancio Higuera made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Zalduondo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mancio Higuera came free, but Eberardo Casas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Mendez got free with Lano Litago in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Cutberto Bargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Mancio Higuera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberardo Casas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eberardo Casas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mancio Higuera, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 85 minutes of play Zalduondo FC's Cesareo Vacas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 86 played minutes Zalduondo FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesareo Vacas. Eberardo Casas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mancio Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mancio Higuera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eberardo Casas having to make a save. Eder Morera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberardo Casas having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
