Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Buenafuente in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Tobias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel Buenafuente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Martindegi FC's Eulalio Infante got a free kick in the 19th minute. Patricio Soto hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Marcelo Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Buenafuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Gudesteo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gudesteo Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Tobias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Samuel Buenafuente came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Las Cuevas De Los Medinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Buenafuente couldn't finish the play. Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's Samuel Buenafuente got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gudesteo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Alfaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's zone, Cleto Alfaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zosimo Casanova came out of the goal and Cleto Alfaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Thiago Ramis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zosimo Casanova was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Gudesteo Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Las Cuevas De Los Medinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gudesteo Garcia couldn't finish the play. Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's Samuel Buenafuente got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Garin Lara fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's protests and gave Garin Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Ramis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zosimo Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's goalkeeper Zosimo Casanova, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Zosimo Casanova successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Las Cuevas De Los Medinas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
