Ibar Gene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oriol Casero in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Sandro Barro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Arratzain got a freekick which was hit by Enol Casanova. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Ladra got free with Vitin Calvo in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Ladra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Oriol Casero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibar Gene was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 92nd minute, Oriol Casero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibar Gene was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The San Isidro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Isidro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
