After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Maureo Casas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente De La Sierra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maureo Casas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milio Morientes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Fernandez in the 6th minute of play forced Soller CF's goalkeeper Milio Morientes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute Maureo Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milio Morientes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josep Lagunas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julián Balcells saved Puente De La Sierra FC from getting behind. Puente De La Sierra FC's Maureo Casas got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Albano Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Soller CF got a freekick which was hit by Josep Lagunas. After having played for 20 minutes, Albano Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente De La Sierra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albano Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julián Balcells made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilesindo Izquierdo in the 28th minute. Lucero Pedrosa hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Soller CF's Josep Lagunas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inautzi Solana during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Soller CF got a freekick which was hit by Inautzi Solana. In the 34th minute, Maureo Casas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Soller CF's Fertus Sauca got a free kick in the 35th minute. Albano Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maureo Casas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Milio Morientes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milio Morientes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maureo Casas in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Soller CF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fertus Sauca hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soller CF's zone, Maureo Casas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milio Morientes came out of the goal and Maureo Casas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josep Lagunas to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Soller CF's Gilesindo Izquierdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julián Balcells narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maureo Casas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milio Morientes having to interfere. If Albano Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Gilesindo Izquierdo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Puente De La Sierra FC's Julián Balcells. Julián Balcells was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilesindo Izquierdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julián Balcells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilesindo Izquierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julián Balcells having to interfere. Julián Balcells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josep Lagunas in the 78th minute of the match. Julián Balcells took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josep Lagunas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Soller CF's Milio Morientes got control of the ball when Maureo Casas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Soller CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
