An unexpectedly hard shot by Goi Aranzubia in the 75th minute of play forced Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC's goalkeeper Fabio Cuervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Getafe AFC's zone, Toribio Ecija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pelayo Riells came out of the goal and Toribio Ecija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Gabi Uria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Getafe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabi Uria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domingo Morales struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pelayo Riells didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC. 85 minutes into the match, Getafe AFC's goalkeeper Pelayo Riells had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toribio Ecija. Ioseba Montiel hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aeropuerto De Jerez De La Frontera FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
