A wasted opportunity for Monte Alcedo FC. 21 minutes into the game, Joey Amer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Edur Aznar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xirivella FC's Eder Santalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colon Casta in the 31st minute of play. Joey Amer might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edur Aznar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joey Amer ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malvin Puyol got free with Eder Santalla in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Xirivella FC's Pedro Font got a free kick in the 39th minute. A collision led to Xirivella FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pablo Navarro hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Malvin Puyol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eder Santalla, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Colon Casta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Pablo Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Colon Casta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Xove Valdés hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Edur Aznar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Pablo Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edur Aznar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Pablo Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edur Aznar. Monte Alcedo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Xirivella FC's Prudencio Blazquez got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Malvin Puyol put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eder Santalla. After some careless play in the Xirivella FC defense, Malvin Puyol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eder Santalla. The Xirivella FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eder Santalla should have stopped the shot. Monte Alcedo FC's Edur Aznar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Monte Alcedo FC from getting a goal against them. When Tabor Acosta fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Alcedo FC's protests and gave Tabor Acosta a yellow card for diving instead. If Colon Casta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Xirivella FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monte Alcedo FC.
