The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Els Mangraners AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Quesada came free, but Heriberto Barberá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Els Mangraners AFC's Amador Vives got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Els Mangraners AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabi santillana. Heriberto Barberá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Quesada, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Nestor Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bladi Camara kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Emilio Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heriberto Barberá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Quesada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Petrés getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tolino Casado hit a great ball. Braulio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dei Bellido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braulio Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dei Bellido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Teodosio Pedrosa took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dei Bellido. Dei Bellido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 45 minutes of play, Els Mangraners AFC's Braulio Cruz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dei Bellido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Quesada was the one to do the kick off. When Emilio Quesada came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Petrés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Quesada couldn't finish the play. Nestor Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heriberto Barberá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Dei Bellido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Pedrosa in the 59th minute. Emilio Quesada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Barberá having to interfere. Els Mangraners AFC's Heriberto Barberá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Quesada in the 67th minute of play. Heriberto Barberá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Quesada in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Els Mangraners AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gabi santillana hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Els Mangraners AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabi santillana. If Emilio Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Nestor Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Xabat Durango was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Els Mangraners AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrés the free kick. The supporters of Petrés booed when Els Mangraners AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabat Durango didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Petrés's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teodosio Pedrosa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Els Mangraners AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Quesada came free, but Heriberto Barberá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Pedrosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Petrés:s Dei Bellido showed great skill when he stopped Bladi Camara:s penalty. Nestor Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Barberá having to interfere. The Petrés supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Els Mangraners AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Els Mangraners AFC.
