A collision led to Sant Maure FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gabi Vicente hit a great ball. Saladavieja AFC's Solustiano Gene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gumersindo Garzon in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Enrique Orozco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joselito Valdivia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Solustiano Gene tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solustiano Gene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gumersindo Garzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lorenz Castillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costante Blanco having to make a save. In the 23rd minute, Lorenz Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Sant Maure FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenz Castillo came free, but Costante Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivar Serrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costante Blanco having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Saladavieja AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joselito Valdivia came free, but Solustiano Gene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sant Maure FC booed when Saladavieja AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Solustiano Gene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joselito Valdivia in the 37th minute of the match. Enrique Orozco hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Solustiano Gene showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gumersindo Garzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 48 minutes into the game, Sant Maure FC's Gumersindo Garzon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Solustiano Gene made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Sant Maure FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joselito Valdivia to make the kick off. Olivar Serrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costante Blanco having to interfere. When Olivar Serrano fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saladavieja AFC's protests and gave Olivar Serrano a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Saladavieja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Olivar Serrano. 66 minutes into the match, Lorenz Castillo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sant Maure FC's Costante Blanco. Costante Blanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costante Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz Castillo in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 played minutes Saladavieja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Orozco. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Maure FC's zone, Lorenz Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costante Blanco came out of the goal and Lorenz Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the game, Gabi Vicente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sant Maure FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saladavieja AFC the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Sant Maure FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabi Vicente to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Lorenz Castillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costante Blanco. Sant Maure FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenz Castillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After having played for 91 minutes, Gumersindo Garzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Maure FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gumersindo Garzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sant Maure FC booed when Saladavieja AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Sant Maure FC's Peli Jaraba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Saladavieja AFC's Enrique Orozco got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sant Maure FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Saladavieja AFC.
