In the 17th minute, Quilino Sarrate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jalón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Octavio Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Seve Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. Eleuterio Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sant Feliu De Llobregat. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colon Sobera couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quilino Sarrate got free with Fidencio Gomar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Jalón players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
