Robustiano Iglesias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belisario Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlomagno Batuecas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilixo Medina saved Cenes De La Vega from getting behind. Belisario Gomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Iglesias having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cenes De La Vega's Robustiano Iglesias threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Belisario Gomar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Arangiz's zone, Belisario Gomar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Iglesias came out of the goal and Belisario Gomar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Benigno Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilixo Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venancio Balboa during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Arangiz got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Balboa. When Francesco Baltanas came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cenes De La Vega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Baltanas couldn't finish the play. Francesco Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes of play, Cenes De La Vega's Francesco Baltanas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Iglesias was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Robustiano Iglesias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boni Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Francesco Baltanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Iglesias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Xesc De Pablo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arangiz and the Cenes De La Vega players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arangiz! The referee gave Cenes De La Vega a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by García Alfaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arangiz's Robustiano Iglesias. 2-0. Francesco Baltanas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cenes De La Vega getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. García Alfaro hit a great ball. When Carlomagno Batuecas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Arangiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlomagno Batuecas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 74 minutes, Benigno Labarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arangiz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benigno Labarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilixo Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Labarra in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Carlomagno Batuecas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cenes De La Vega's Ilixo Medina. Ilixo Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Cenes De La Vega's Pitin Escurza got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Macario Vilanova fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arangiz's protests and gave Macario Vilanova a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Macario Vilanova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Arangiz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cenes De La Vega.
