Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Indartsu Cabrera started the match with the kick off. Ebardo Casas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Nueva having to interfere. In the 5thth minute of the game Ebardo Casas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Getxo AFC's Peter Nueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, El Alcor's Eneas Flores got a free kick in the 11th minute. Indartsu Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hegoi Prieto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Getxo AFC booed when El Alcor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pello Incera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Olo Jaen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Getxo AFC's Peter Nueva didn't even have to move. Hegoi Prieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indartsu Cabrera in the 24th minute of play. Fernando Palencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, El Alcor's goal looked a bit too open when Indartsu Cabrera came free, but Hegoi Prieto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ebardo Casas made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Getxo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Etxatxu Vagrande. After having played for 55 minutes, Ebardo Casas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Alcor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ebardo Casas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Camaño struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Peter Nueva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Alcor. Peter Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Camaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to El Alcor getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eneas Flores hit a great ball. Fernando Palencia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebardo Casas in the 70th minute of play. If Carlos Camaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Ebardo Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Getxo AFC's goalkeeper Peter Nueva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ebardo Casas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Nueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Alcor's Hegoi Prieto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indartsu Cabrera in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
