Salvador Serena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sindo Vazquez. Viznar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hibai Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petronio Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Martín Galego fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pasaia's protests and gave Martín Galego a yellow card for diving instead. Martín Galego hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Hibai Caballero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Llorente in the 15th minute of play. If Antxo Ruiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The supporters of Pasaia booed when Viznar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montrel Crespo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, one of Pasaia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pasaia. In the 58thth minute of the game Ovidio Montero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viznar's Sindo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st match minute, Pasaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martín Galego to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Petronio Escobar made a precise shot to the right of Hibai Caballero. Pasaia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. A collision led to Viznar getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mero Vila hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Ovidio Montero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viznar's Sindo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Montero in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sindo Vazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Montero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
