The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Germán Novo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Julio Arenas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes El Querforadat CF got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Ramirez. Saturnin Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Julio Arenas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Fogars De Tordera booed when El Querforadat CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes, Fogars De Tordera's Nofre Sauca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Zapata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fogars De Tordera reached it. Gil Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lonzo Laredo in the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Santiago Carrasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Querforadat CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Carrasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Arenas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germán Novo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Diego Ziguenza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fogars De Tordera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Querforadat CF the free kick. Diego Ziguenza kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Carrasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El Querforadat CF's Gil Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnin Quiroga in the 62nd minute of play. Fogars De Tordera's Lonzo Laredo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnin Quiroga in the 74th minute of the match. When Saturnin Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fogars De Tordera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnin Quiroga couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lonzo Laredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fogars De Tordera's supporters rose to their feet, but Lonzo Laredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Carrasco in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Arenas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fogars De Tordera's Julio Arenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ramirez in the 87th minute of play. El Querforadat CF's Sergio Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germán Novo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
