Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cefero Fresnos made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mandoiana's zone, Fortunato Urquijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Litago came out of the goal and Fortunato Urquijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Litago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Fresnos in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fortunato Urquijo managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Esteban AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Urquijo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Litago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Urquijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Idiaquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Epicuro Bartumeu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mandoiana's Venancio Litago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Urquijo in the 39th minute of play. Epicuro Bartumeu was a little too slow when Pascual Idiaquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. 49 minutes into the match, Mandoiana's goal looked a bit too open when Cefero Fresnos came free, but Venancio Litago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Idiaquez made a kick off. A collision led to Mandoiana getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Belarmino Guijarro hit a great ball. If Fortunato Urquijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mandoiana's Anaut Bacete got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Anaut Bacete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to San Esteban AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Quinito Campos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serapio Barberá during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mandoiana booed when San Esteban AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serapio Barberá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Locaio Maroto, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Anaut Bacete took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epicuro Bartumeu. Epicuro Bartumeu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 83rd match minute, San Esteban AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cefero Fresnos to maneuver through the defense. Anaut Bacete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Epicuro Bartumeu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Pascual Idiaquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortunato Urquijo might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Venancio Litago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fortunato Urquijo ran back to his position shaking his head.
