Eustaquio Andres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Gabas lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Canet De Mar FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eugenio De Pablo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mateo Casado made a huge save. Agamenón Cabanela charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agamenón Cabanela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Posadas Ricas FC's Agamenón Cabanela got a free kick in the 87th minute.
