Eustaquio Andres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iyan Losantos in the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Eugenio De Pablo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Posadas Ricas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio De Pablo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Burgo De Ebro FC's Vito Ricoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Soto in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Iyan Losantos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Posadas Ricas FC's Eustaquio Andres. Eustaquio Andres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenico Soto to strike the kick off in the second half. If Domenico Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio De Pablo in the 53rd minute of play forced El Burgo De Ebro FC's goalkeeper Vito Ricoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Ricoy came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Posadas Ricas FC's Eugenio De Pablo. But to his dismay, Eugenio De Pablo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a little luck, Posadas Ricas FC's Eustaquio Andres got control of the ball when Romualdo Galnares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Romualdo Galnares managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Burgo De Ebro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romualdo Galnares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustaquio Andres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iyan Losantos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eustaquio Andres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Posadas Ricas FC booed when El Burgo De Ebro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter De la Torre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Posadas Ricas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Burgo De Ebro FC's performance. The match ended with a win for El Burgo De Ebro FC.
