Florentino Echavarri started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Veremundo Cayuela during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cartuja Baja getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Veremundo Cayuela hit a great ball. When Ricardo Carceles came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ergoien FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Carceles couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Ergoien FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Romero to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 21 in the game by Haritz Ricoy from a close distance when the talented Herberto Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Ergoien FC's players were relieved. Herberto Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Echavarri's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 22 minutes, Romulo Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ergoien FC and the Cartuja Baja players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ergoien FC's Romulo Romero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ergoien FC's Herberto Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Echavarri in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fructuoso Arias during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ergoien FC's Fructuoso Arias got a free kick in the 26th minute. Herberto Barbosa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Haimar Alfaro. With a little luck, Ergoien FC's Herberto Barbosa got control of the ball when Haritz Ricoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Cartuja Baja's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Carceles came free, but Jeremias Gonzáles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herberto Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Haritz Ricoy sent off a good shot on target. If Ricardo Carceles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herberto Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Echavarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Ergoien FC's goalkeeper Herberto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haritz Ricoy. After having played for 46 minutes, Ricardo Carceles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ergoien FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Carceles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Ricardo Carceles made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Gonzáles. Cartuja Baja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Ergoien FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fructuoso Arias hit a great ball. Haritz Ricoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Herberto Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Haritz Ricoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Carceles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Ergoien FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Ergoien FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jakes Perpiñán hit a great ball. If Florentino Echavarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Echavarri in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herberto Barbosa saved Ergoien FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ergoien FC's Fructuoso Arias got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Haritz Ricoy, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Herberto Barbosa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Ricardo Carceles put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Gonzáles. In the 84th minute Ricardo Carceles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Gonzáles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Carceles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Gonzáles was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 90th match minute, Cartuja Baja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Bargas to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute of the match Aquiles Camarasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremias Gonzáles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Ricardo Carceles took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jeremias Gonzáles to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haritz Ricoy in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herberto Barbosa saved Ergoien FC from getting behind.
