Zosimo Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Quijote AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Acedo came free, but Timo Cameno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zosimo Acedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Cameno having to interfere. Canovelles's Domeka Roman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Canovelles from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Maximino Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quijote AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domeka Roman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gorka Castan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Zosimo Acedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Cameno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Quijote AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lekumberri Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. Hermelando Campos might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domeka Roman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermelando Campos ran back to his position shaking his head. Hermelando Campos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Domeka Roman made a huge save. If Zosimo Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Cameno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Darroja in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Maximino Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canovelles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quijote AFC the free kick. 44 minutes into the match, Perico Valdivia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domeka Roman. Canovelles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perico Valdivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Zosimo Acedo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gorka Castan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximino Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Canovelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Alfaro to maneuver through the defense. Tano Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Domeka Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maximino Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Canovelles's Carlos Griful got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Hermelando Campos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domeka Roman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Hermelando Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gorka Castan charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gorka Castan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gorka Castan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hermelando Campos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Domeka Roman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermelando Campos went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Quijote AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
