Puente Mayorga AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iraitz Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Solustiano Palencia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Geofredo Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carles Carmona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Ursino Vacas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puente Mayorga AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chodos CF the free kick. The penalty shot was made by Mingo Garate, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puente Mayorga AFC's Carles Carmona. 0-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Solustiano Palencia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iraitz Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Pascual Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente Mayorga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iraitz Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
