Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pascual Puig started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Pascual Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Cameno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Pericles Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quijote AFC and the Puente Mayorga AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Puente Mayorga AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Pascual Puig hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Puente Mayorga AFC's Rogelio Castillo got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Puente Mayorga AFC's zone, Perico Valdivia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carles Carmona came out of the goal and Perico Valdivia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pere Cuevas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermelando Campos got free with Carles Carmona in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melchor Diez charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Diez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Puente Mayorga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Diez. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Maximino Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 29 minutes into the match, Quijote AFC's Maximino Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carles Carmona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pascual Puig struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Timo Cameno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puente Mayorga AFC. Hermelando Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Carles Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraitz Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Cameno having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Toledo to make the kick off. Tano Santiago hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Iraitz Guerrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Pere Cuevas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente Mayorga AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pere Cuevas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Cameno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the game, Lekumberri Guijarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quijote AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puente Mayorga AFC the free kick. After 67 played minutes Quijote AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lekumberri Guijarro. In the 70thth minute of the game Pascual Puig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quijote AFC's Timo Cameno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hermelando Campos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Quijote AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermelando Campos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Puente Mayorga AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pere Cuevas hit a great ball. Carles Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermelando Campos in the 78th minute of play. Quijote AFC's Timo Cameno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Puig in the 79th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
