In the 5th match minute, Albarizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandro Sanz to maneuver through the defense. Rainerio Canyelles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaizko Benito. Albarizas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute, Indalecio Ortega fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bernardino Maroto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Babia in the 23rd minute of play. Eleodoro Gomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Albarizas's Mino Perez got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Bernardino Maroto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Babia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Maroto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Babia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Babia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Babia in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Maroto saved Lifa from getting behind. Lifa's Bernardino Maroto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Babia in the 63rd minute of play. Lonzo Valerón hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Emilio Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Indalecio Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Emilio Babia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albarizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Babia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilio Babia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Maroto having to interfere. When Indalecio Ortega came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Albarizas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Indalecio Ortega couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Emilio Babia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Maroto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Indalecio Ortega cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bernardino Maroto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Babia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Maroto having to interfere.
