The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tobias Lillo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Carpesa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Lillo couldn't finish the play. When Basilio Lopez de Toro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cebo Ucero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Lillo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cebo Ucero saved Pozo Los Palos AFC from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Tobias Lillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpesa AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Lopez de Toro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cebo Ucero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by René Lacorte during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carpesa AFC booed when Pozo Los Palos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Lacorte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Lillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Basilio Lopez de Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pozo Los Palos AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Clemencin Reina hit a great ball. The Pozo Los Palos AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carpesa AFC were winning 0-1.

If Hernán Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tito Bargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Lillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cebo Ucero having to make a save. Basilio Lopez de Toro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Pozo Los Palos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Lopez de Toro came free, but Cebo Ucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hernán Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pau Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cebo Ucero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pau Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. Carpesa AFC's Basilio Lopez de Toro got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cebo Ucero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
