After some careless play in the Cabo Negrete defense, Nikola Herrero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Argenis Rosario. The Cabo Negrete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Argenis Rosario should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo De Toro in the 7th minute of play forced Huertas Nuevas AFC's goalkeeper Lolo Cañadas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes Huertas Nuevas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Gene. If Godfredo De Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Dimo Nadal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabo Negrete's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimo Nadal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lolo Cañadas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Godfredo De Toro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lolo Cañadas. Huertas Nuevas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo De Toro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Dimo Nadal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lolo Cañadas was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Cabo Negrete's Argenis Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silban Planes in the 28th minute of play. Nikola Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argenis Rosario having to interfere. Cabo Negrete's Argenis Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silban Planes in the 31st minute of play. Argenis Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silban Planes in the 33rd minute of play. Vermudo Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ernesto Madariaga, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ferran Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Cabo Negrete's goalkeeper Argenis Rosario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikola Herrero. Carlitos Quevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lolo Cañadas. Huertas Nuevas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimo Nadal to make the kick off. Ladio Sirvent took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Argenis Rosario. Argenis Rosario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Silban Planes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nikola Herrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Huertas Nuevas AFC's Nikola Herrero made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Argenis Rosario was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dimo Nadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st match minute, Huertas Nuevas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Gene to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Huertas Nuevas AFC's goalkeeper Lolo Cañadas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godfredo De Toro. Godfredo De Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Cañadas having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo De Toro got free with Lolo Cañadas in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Cabo Negrete booed when Huertas Nuevas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacio Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo De Toro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Cañadas having to interfere.
