Feliciano Arribas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Arribas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sobradiel FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Feliciano Arribas hit a great ball. Urbano Fresnos kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Adán Benito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antero Menendez's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Adán Benito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antero Menendez in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Hassan Segarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abejundio Lermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adán Benito having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Gaizkine Otero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Hassan Segarra's long shot passed Xepe Alvarez's right side. It was 1-0, 19 minutes into the match. Adán Benito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abejundio Lermo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Xepe Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Cuadrado, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Foronda AFC's Peio Alcantara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xepe Alvarez. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Antero Menendez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adán Benito was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Victor Cuadrado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xepe Alvarez. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Foronda AFC's Peio Alcantara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Abejundio Lermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobradiel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abejundio Lermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adán Benito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute Abejundio Lermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adán Benito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antero Menendez made a kick off. Antero Menendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adán Benito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sobradiel FC's zone, Berriotxoa Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xepe Alvarez came out of the goal and Berriotxoa Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Berriotxoa Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sobradiel FC's Xepe Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berriotxoa Ponce in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Abejundio Lermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adán Benito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
