Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Indartsu Urbina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Cuadrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Foronda AFC's goalkeeper Adán Benito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Bilbao got a freekick which was hit by Laurgain Zapata. Adán Benito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Aguado in the 14th minute of the match. Tomualdo Carmona might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adán Benito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomualdo Carmona ran back to his position shaking his head. Adán Benito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Aguado in the 22nd minute of the match. When Peio Alcantara fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foronda AFC's protests and gave Peio Alcantara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Foronda AFC's Peio Alcantara got a free kick in the 26th minute. Adán Benito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Aguado, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Tomualdo Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilbao's Pepe Aguado got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pepe Aguado to make the kick off. Foronda AFC's Adán Benito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pepe Aguado in the 56th minute of play. If Berriotxoa Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Indartsu Urbina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berriotxoa Ponce in the 68th minute. Bilbao's Indartsu Urbina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Cuadrado in the 72nd minute of play. Avellano Espinosa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Victor Cuadrado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Indartsu Urbina having to interfere. The supporters of Bilbao booed when Foronda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Olano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomualdo Carmona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adán Benito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomualdo Carmona in the 87th minute of play.
