Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ximo Ballesteros kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Girón AFC's zone, Zunbeltz Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Luis Mangas came out of the goal and Zunbeltz Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hanot Zafrilla during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zunbeltz Rosario came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Juan-Luis Mangas could save by the left post. Juan-Luis Mangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino De Toro in the 11th minute of play. Zunbeltz Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iñaki De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zunbeltz Rosario might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Luis Mangas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zunbeltz Rosario ran back to his position shaking his head. Gelmiro Esteban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Codos SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Santos came free, but Iñaki De Pablo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Girón AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bernardino De Toro made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino De Toro in the 53rd minute of play forced Girón AFC's goalkeeper Juan-Luis Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bartolo Santos came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Girón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Santos couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Codos SAD's Gelmiro Esteban got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Gelmiro Esteban charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelmiro Esteban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Codos SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelmiro Esteban to maneuver through the defense. Iñaki De Pablo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximo Ballesteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Girón AFC's Gaizka Noya suffered a sprained foot after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mingo Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bernardino De Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codos SAD's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino De Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Luis Mangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Girón AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gerardo Justo hit a great ball. The supporters of Codos SAD booed when Girón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximo Ballesteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Codos SAD's Peio Solana tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
