The supporters of Girón AFC booed when Alguazas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Valdés didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Bartolo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Girón AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartolo Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pere Macías breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximo Ballesteros in the 13th minute of play forced Alguazas FC's goalkeeper Pere Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xelo Turienzo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alguazas FC's protests and gave Xelo Turienzo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Girón AFC booed when Alguazas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xelo Turienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xulio Iniesta hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Alguazas FC's Beila Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ximo Ballesteros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pere Macías came out and tried to block the shot, but Ximo Ballesteros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Alguazas FC's Pere Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximo Ballesteros in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Girón AFC booed when Alguazas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Marco Abellan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pere Macías showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 played minutes Alguazas FC got a freekick which was hit by Xelo Turienzo. In the 44thth minute of the game Ximo Ballesteros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alguazas FC's Pere Macías was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximo Ballesteros made a kick off. Pere Macías showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximo Ballesteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Lauro Otero charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Girón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximo Ballesteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Bartolo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pere Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beila Torres got free with Juan-Luis Mangas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Girón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Raya came free, but Juan-Luis Mangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Emiliano Raya took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Juan-Luis Mangas to make any attempt to save it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
