Silvestre Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iñaki De Pablo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Zunbeltz Rosario cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luis Doblas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iñaki De Pablo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Silvestre Gil sent off a good shot on target. Bernardino De Toro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luis Doblas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Petrés's Silvestre Gil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iñaki De Pablo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Petrés's Mendebal Macías sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iñaki De Pablo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Gelmiro Esteban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Codos SAD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Petrés the free kick. The supporters of Petrés booed when Codos SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelmiro Esteban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codos SAD's Gelmiro Esteban got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Gelmiro Esteban off the ground. In the 41st minute, Gelmiro Esteban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 minutes of play, Codos SAD's Zunbeltz Rosario made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Doblas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Petrés players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Codos SAD were winning 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mendebal Macías stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Zunbeltz Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Petrés's zone, Bernardino De Toro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Doblas came out of the goal and Bernardino De Toro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iñaki De Pablo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Petrés's Justo Urbina got a free kick in the 64th minute. Silvestre Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Peio Solana charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peio Solana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Codos SAD's Peio Solana got a free kick in the 68th minute. The tension between the Codos SAD and the Petrés players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardino De Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Mendebal Macías got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Codos SAD's goalkeeper Iñaki De Pablo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Codos SAD's Anter Alabern got a free kick in the 87th minute. Zunbeltz Rosario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Doblas having to interfere. The Codos SAD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Codos SAD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
