Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaspar Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gualta's goalkeeper Eduino Camara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 4th match minute, Las Escarrihuelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Colillas to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Las Escarrihuelas's Julen Barrientos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduino Camara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Escarrihuelas's goalkeeper Rubén Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Gualta's Guillen Mera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Enrico Mangas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rubén Fernandez made a huge save. Julen Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduino Camara having to interfere. Gualta's Enrico Mangas got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrico Mangas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Rubén Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rubén Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Las Escarrihuelas's Saul Cayuela got a free kick in the 37th minute. Las Escarrihuelas's Rubén Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Toledo in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Colillas during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnulfo Colillas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Gaspar Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rubén Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Las Escarrihuelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Pedraza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Enrico Mangas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julen Barrientos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rubén Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Mangas in the 55th minute of play. Rubén Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Gualta's goal looked a bit too open when Julen Barrientos came free, but Eduino Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrico Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julen Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eduino Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Correa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eduino Camara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Barrientos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Julen Barrientos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduino Camara having to interfere. Julen Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Eduino Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Las Escarrihuelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asdrubal Feal to maneuver through the defense. Eduino Camara was a little too slow when Arnoldo Litago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Las Escarrihuelas's zone, Gaspar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubén Fernandez came out of the goal and Gaspar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Las Escarrihuelas echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Gualta had held the ball for most of the match.
