The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filomeno Cerreri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Telesforo Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peralta De Alcofea were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Benifaraig AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolás Moreira took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nicolás Moreira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cebo Santalla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Albano Jorquera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cebo Santalla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Benifaraig AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nevada Morcego to maneuver through the defense. Peralta De Alcofea's Albano Jorquera got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Rubén Bouzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telesforo Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telesforo Prats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Bouzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Peralta De Alcofea's Albano Jorquera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebo Santalla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benifaraig AFC's Rubén Bouzas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peralta De Alcofea! A collision led to Peralta De Alcofea getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ciriaco Quevedo hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubén Bouzas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Filomeno Cerreri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telesforo Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cebo Santalla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Albano Jorquera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Benifaraig AFC's Cebo Santalla got control of the ball when Albano Jorquera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Cerreri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filomeno Cerreri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telesforo Prats having to interfere. A hard shot 80 in the game by Ciriaco Quevedo from a close distance when the talented Cebo Santalla managed to make a qualified save. Benifaraig AFC's players were relieved. Telesforo Prats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Bouzas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes, Freddy Treviño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benifaraig AFC and the Peralta De Alcofea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Freddy Treviño hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubén Bouzas in the 90th minute of play forced Peralta De Alcofea's goalkeeper Telesforo Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cebo Santalla made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Albano Jorquera sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Louis Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peralta De Alcofea's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cebo Santalla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cebo Santalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Casado in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Benifaraig AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peralta De Alcofea had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
