Dino Alfaro's late challenge caught a Benifaraig AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Benifaraig AFC booed when Alcarràs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Bouzas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcarràs's Valery Huguet got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valery Huguet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Cerreri struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. David Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benifaraig AFC. In the 17th minute, Victorio Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alcarràs's David Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Bouzas in the 20th minute of play. Rubén Bouzas struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. David Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benifaraig AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Treviño during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Valery Huguet came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Alcarràs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valery Huguet couldn't finish the play. Cebo Santalla was a little too slow when Valery Huguet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 35th minute, Filomeno Cerreri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Cerreri in the 37th minute of play forced Alcarràs's goalkeeper David Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubén Bouzas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Alcarràs's David Freire got control of the ball when Filomeno Cerreri tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes in the game, Filomeno Cerreri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without David Freire having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, David Zapata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Cerreri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Freire read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When Eloy Santos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Benifaraig AFC's protests and gave Eloy Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Cebo Santalla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valery Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alcarràs's Goi Ortiz in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benifaraig AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Alcarràs's David Freire proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Alcarràs from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Rubén Bouzas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubén Bouzas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
