Vermudo Olle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santi Casta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Xesc Otero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jacobo Solana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vermudo Olle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santi Casta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Bobadilla AFC's Ekhi Higuera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vermudo Olle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in LoS cArBoNiLLAs's zone, Santi Casta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vermudo Olle came out of the goal and Santi Casta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vermudo Olle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekhi Higuera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the LoS cArBoNiLLAs players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bobadilla AFC.
