Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gaizko Moreno made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Almería AFC booed when Caleao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abundio Turienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Caleao getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Baldemer Verges hit a great ball. In the 9th match minute, Caleao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Waldoch to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Folch struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Domenech Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almería AFC. Abundio Turienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Etor Obis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charro Toxeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cordareo Jurado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Etor Obis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lawrence Alacuart in the 31st minute of play. Domenech Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizko Moreno in the 33rd minute of play. Damaso Folch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Felipo Alavedra in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caleao's Ludomil Waldoch. In the 44th minute Gaizko Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenech Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenech Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizko Moreno in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abundio Turienzo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Almería AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abundio Turienzo came free, but Etor Obis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 54 minutes, Charro Toxeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almería AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charro Toxeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gaizko Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domenech Zapata was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Paz during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caleao's Ezequiel Paz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Cordareo Jurado hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Gaizko Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caleao's Domenech Zapata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Cordareo Jurado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caleao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almería AFC the free kick. After 76 played minutes Caleao got a freekick which was hit by Cordareo Jurado. Caleao's Curro Buenafuente was substituted for Cordareo Jurado. A collision led to Caleao getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cordareo Jurado hit a great ball. Etor Obis came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Caleao's Curro Buenafuente. But to his dismay, Curro Buenafuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Caleao's Domenech Zapata got control of the ball when Xurde Caballero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Macedonio Bartumeu made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felipo Alavedra. In the 94th minute Gaizko Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenech Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etor Obis came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Caleao's Abundio Turienzo. But to his dismay, Abundio Turienzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
