Abertura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Timo Pujol came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Caleao's Cordareo Jurado. But to his dismay, Cordareo Jurado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Domenech Zapata came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Abertura's Benjamin Campello. But to his dismay, Benjamin Campello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Abundio Turienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Timo Pujol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abundio Turienzo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timo Pujol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Abertura's goal looked a bit too open when Abundio Turienzo came free, but Timo Pujol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Benjamin Campello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abertura and the Caleao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Campello kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cordareo Jurado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleao's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordareo Jurado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Pujol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Ezequiel Paz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timo Pujol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xantalen Baños was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Lawrence Alacuart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Timo Pujol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Abertura's zone, Abundio Turienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timo Pujol came out of the goal and Abundio Turienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timo Pujol was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Lawrence Alacuart capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lawrence Alacuart really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Geleberto Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Eneko Martínez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Pujol having to interfere. Eleodoro Cifuentes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timo Pujol. Abertura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdo Delgado's late challenge caught a Caleao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. If Abundio Turienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eneko Martínez got free with Timo Pujol in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes in the game Elivareo Gonzalez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arcadio Elguero. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sagrario Jimenez during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Edorta Calderon fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleao's protests and gave Edorta Calderon a yellow card for diving instead. Edorta Calderon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caleao's goalkeeper Domenech Zapata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Caleao's goal looked a bit too open when Xantalen Baños came free, but Domenech Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caleao played a much better game than Abertura and deserved their victory. The Abertura players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
