Francis Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pello De Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Esteban in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oso Torres in the 13th minute of play forced Los Locos FC's goalkeeper Francis Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Locos FC's Francis Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oso Torres in the 14th minute of play. Francis Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pello De Silva in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of rcd Segorbiga booed when Los Locos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan España didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, rcd Segorbiga's goalkeeper Norberto Martínez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonso Cainzos. Francis Salgado came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by rcd Segorbiga's Pello De Silva. But to his dismay, Pello De Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of rcd Segorbiga booed when Los Locos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Esteban didn't get a good kick on the ball. rcd Segorbiga's Norberto Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save rcd Segorbiga from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Esteban was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to rcd Segorbiga getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Emiliano Sacristán hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pello De Silva in the 63rd minute of play forced Los Locos FC's goalkeeper Francis Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norberto Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Esteban, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Emiliano Sacristán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. rcd Segorbiga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Locos FC the free kick. rcd Segorbiga's Norberto Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Esteban in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Pello De Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Martínez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Esteban's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Los Locos FC's goalkeeper Francis Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oso Torres. Rafael Esteban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Martínez having to interfere. The Los Locos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching rcd Segorbiga's performance. The match ended with a win for rcd Segorbiga.
