The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexander Cardeñosa struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ximeno Muelas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urarte UD. Atauri Llorca kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Ximeno Muelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarías Vagrande, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Marbella Cooper FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lleir Reyes hit a great ball. When Zacarías Vagrande came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Urarte UD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarías Vagrande couldn't finish the play. Ximeno Muelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarías Vagrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Xavian Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Carrasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Alexander Cardeñosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urarte UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marbella Cooper FC the free kick. The supporters of Marbella Cooper FC booed when Urarte UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Cardeñosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarías Vagrande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximeno Muelas having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Lleir Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marbella Cooper FC and the Urarte UD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Marbella Cooper FC got a freekick which was hit by Lleir Reyes.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lleir Reyes made a kick off. Urarte UD's Gilberto Carrasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atauri Llorca in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Urarte UD's zone, Lleir Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Carrasco came out of the goal and Lleir Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anaut Morales struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gilberto Carrasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marbella Cooper FC. Atauri Llorca's late challenge caught a Urarte UD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atauri Llorca helped the player get up and apologised. Marbella Cooper FC's Ximeno Muelas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Marbella Cooper FC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Alexander Cardeñosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anaut Morales hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Zacarías Vagrande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Marbella Cooper FC's zone, Zacarías Vagrande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ximeno Muelas came out of the goal and Zacarías Vagrande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marbella Cooper FC's goalkeeper Ximeno Muelas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urarte UD were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Marbella Cooper FC to leave the ground with a draw.
