When Ferran Soto fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Macedoniana's protests and gave Ferran Soto a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes La Macedoniana got a freekick which was hit by Ferran Soto. In the 9th minute, Javier Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quico Zárate was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Aberri Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quico Zárate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Roman's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes, Josepe Mondejar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corzans and the La Macedoniana players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Oscar Roman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quico Zárate was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Aberri Font struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Brion Esteban didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Macedoniana. If Mazuste Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quico Zárate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Quiroga in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabin Castan to make the kick off. La Macedoniana's Quico Zárate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Roman in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the La Macedoniana defense, Oscar Roman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quico Zárate. The La Macedoniana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quico Zárate should have stopped the shot. Javier Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iñaki Molina charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iñaki Molina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Corzans getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Iñaki Molina hit a great ball. Aberri Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brion Esteban having to interfere. If Oscar Roman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quin Cañadas kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Javier Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quico Zárate came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Corzans's Mazuste Quesada. But to his dismay, Mazuste Quesada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 87 minutes into the match, Corzans's Javier Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quico Zárate narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Roman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Oscar Roman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Oscar Roman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Quico Zárate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corzans's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
