When Serafín Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D. Calera's protests and gave Serafín Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Marcelino Arribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Calera's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Arribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabián Novo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Arribas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabián Novo was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Macabeo Teruel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcelino Arribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelino Arribas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabián Novo. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Arribas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabián Novo was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Anleo's Charro Rivera got a free kick in the 22nd minute. C.D. Calera's Marcelino Arribas got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Macabeo Teruel managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D. Marcelino Arribas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Novo having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Macabeo Teruel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Claus Vera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anleo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.D. Calera the free kick. Claus Vera hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, C.D. Calera's Marcelino Arribas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabián Novo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anleo's Fabián Novo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Anleo from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Anleo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Beti Gómez hit a great ball. Fabián Novo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Arribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Arribas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Anleo's goal looked a bit too open when Macabeo Teruel came free, but Fabián Novo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.D. Calera's Marcelino Arribas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Marcelino Arribas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabián Novo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beti Gómez was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th match minute, Anleo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beti Gómez to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Arribas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabián Novo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, C.D. Calera's Macabeo Teruel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabián Novo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 71st match minute, C.D. Calera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Arribas to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Camaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcelino Arribas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macabeo Teruel in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabián Novo saved Anleo from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Anleo's zone, Marcelino Arribas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabián Novo came out of the goal and Marcelino Arribas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Anleo got a freekick which was hit by Frechoso Olano. Fabián Novo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Arribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Marcelino Arribas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.D. Calera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Arribas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that C.D. Calera were the better team. C.D. Calera's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
