Xalo Sarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berdaitz Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of Grandes booed when Mordor F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oier Iniesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Berdaitz Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xalo Sarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Baraxil Vega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Mangas in the 31st minute of the match. Baraxil Vega didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Jaime Lastras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. In the 59th minute, Berdaitz Ponte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xalo Sarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Xalo Sarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berdaitz Ponte in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mordor F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Medina was slow to take the kick. During this time Grandes's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Grandes's Juan Medina to fire away a dangerous shot which Xalo Sarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Mordor F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cayo Morales came free, but Xalo Sarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Jaime Lastras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grandes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Lastras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Jaime Lastras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
