Remigio Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lander Riba in the 17th minute of play. República de Lo Torrent's Remigio Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lander Riba in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maccabi de levantar's zone, Cortez Nunez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Herrera came out of the goal and Cortez Nunez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgio Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Remigio Sancho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgio Reyes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Giorgio Reyes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of República de Lo Torrent's Remigio Sancho. Remigio Sancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciceron Cañadas made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, República de Lo Torrent's goalkeeper Remigio Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Altzibar Pena. Remigio Sancho made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lander Riba sent off a good shot on target. If Ciceron Cañadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Cortez Nunez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciceron Cañadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlo Solana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes, Mendebal Alfaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the República de Lo Torrent and the Maccabi de levantar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for República de Lo Torrent! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Maccabi de levantar. Aniceto Caminero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Remigio Sancho. 0-6. The Maccabi de levantar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maccabi de levantar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
