In the 17th minute, Elisardo Darroja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Heinz Schneider kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Luis-Miguel Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doroteo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelayo Salazar in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Tonyà FC booed when Agost F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pere Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doroteo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis-Miguel Madariaga in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Agost F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis-Miguel Madariaga came free, but Doroteo Roig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Agost F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tonyà FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl-Heinz Schneider to strike the kick off in the second half. Doroteo Roig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis-Miguel Madariaga's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Tonyà FC got a corner. Agost F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Casimiro Cartagena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Casimiro Cartagena made a great header on Tonyà FC's corner, it was just that Agost F.C.'s Doroteo Roig managed to reach the ball for a save. Agost F.C.'s Celso Acarreta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eloy Coello in the 58 minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Luis-Miguel Madariaga fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Agost F.C.'s Doroteo Roig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Agost F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 74 played minutes Agost F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pere Ortega. Pelayo Salazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doroteo Roig came out and tried to block the shot, but Pelayo Salazar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 76th minute. Eloy Coello made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Agost F.C.'s Celso Acarreta. Karl-Heinz Schneider struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zeledon Cardeñosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agost F.C.. In the 84th minute, Celso Acarreta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tonyà FC's Luis-Miguel Madariaga got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Heinz Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Eloy Coello in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Agost F.C.'s Celso Acarreta. When Javier Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Tonyà FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Garcia couldn't finish the play.
