Dimas Ladra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pelayo Salazar in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Torre Del Barracón's goalkeeper Dimas Ladra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelayo Salazar. Luis-Miguel Madariaga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimas Ladra came out and tried to block the shot, but Luis-Miguel Madariaga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Torre Del Barracón's goal looked a bit too open when Luis-Miguel Madariaga came free, but Dimas Ladra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelayo Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Ladra having to interfere. Luis-Miguel Madariaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dimas Ladra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis-Miguel Madariaga ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis-Miguel Madariaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimas Ladra having to interfere. Zeledon Cardeñosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Domingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tonyà FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Amador Arribas hit a great ball. The supporters of Tonyà FC booed when Torre Del Barracón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vigil Zapater didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Eutropio Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Cardeñosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Cardeñosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutropio Sánchez in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, one of Torre Del Barracón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Tonyà FC. Casimiro Cartagena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimas Ladra. 2-0.

Albino Domingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Cardeñosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albino Domingo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Luis-Miguel Madariaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Ladra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eutropio Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torre Del Barracón's supporters rose to their feet, but Eutropio Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Cardeñosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pelayo Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dimas Ladra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis-Miguel Madariaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute Pelayo Salazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Ladra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Luis-Miguel Madariaga made a precise shot to the right of Dimas Ladra. Torre Del Barracón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Zeledon Cardeñosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Domingo in the 91st minute of the match. Torre Del Barracón's Dimas Ladra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelayo Salazar in the 94th minute of play. Tonyà FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
