Piorno Navas might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Odín. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piorno Navas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Manises AFC's zone, Federico Verges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lluc Cabada came out of the goal and Federico Verges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toro Mayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Cabada having to interfere. Milton Torres hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Federico Verges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluc Cabada having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Toro Mayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lluc Cabada. Manises AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toro Mayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ràpid de Nyquist CF's Toro Mayor suffered a concussion in the 29th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Uriel Barrios fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manises AFC's protests and gave Uriel Barrios a yellow card for diving instead. Piorno Navas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Odín having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Ponte in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho Odín prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Manises AFC's Piorno Navas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Odín narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ràpid de Nyquist CF's goalkeeper Nacho Odín, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute Piorno Navas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Odín saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Federico Verges to strike the kick off in the second half. Lluc Cabada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Verges in the 54th minute of the match. Dubardo Lacorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Odín having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Federico Verges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lluc Cabada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manises AFC's Ospin Revuelta got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Piorno Navas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Nacho Odín tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mendebal Arratia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Federico Verges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lluc Cabada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Ràpid de Nyquist CF's goalkeeper Nacho Odín had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piorno Navas. When Sandro Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Manises AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Ponte couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Manises AFC's Sandro Ponte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nacho Odín. That made the score 1-2 after 102 minutes of play. The Manises AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manises AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
