The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iyan Cabanela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iyan Cabanela in the 5th minute of play forced A Valboa's goalkeeper Guillen Goyanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Clodoveo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. A Valboa's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermenegildo Font breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute Xalvador Titos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermenegildo Font saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermenegildo Font showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Zeru Vilanova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of A Valboa booed when Pinsoro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheche Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iyan Cabanela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Goyanes having to interfere. A Valboa's Guillen Goyanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save A Valboa from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, A Valboa's Guillen Goyanes got control of the ball when Sandro Laredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A Valboa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Iyan Cabanela scored to the left of an out of position Guillen Goyanes, making the score, 1-0. Hermenegildo Font took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xalvador Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A Valboa booed when Pinsoro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Iñaki Ledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermenegildo Font skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A Valboa's goalkeeper Guillen Goyanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florencio Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Ramirez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Laredo in the 53rd minute of play forced A Valboa's goalkeeper Guillen Goyanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xalvador Titos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermenegildo Font read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Pinsoro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A Valboa the free kick. After 88 played minutes Pinsoro FC got a freekick which was hit by Cheche Clemente. Xalvador Titos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A Valboa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
