Constantino Torrente did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amato Teresa 9 minutes into the match. When Bardo Navas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garabas San Pedro's protests and gave Bardo Navas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Garabas San Pedro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Els Poblet AFC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Amato Teresa, was totally fooled by Els Poblet AFC's Pietro Dellasierra, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 28 minutes into the match, Garabas San Pedro's Adelio Parra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Escobar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Anxel Ferrer could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Amato Teresa however easily saved by the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Anxel Ferrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Amato Teresa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adelio Parra to make the kick off. Gaston Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelio Parra in the 54th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Auderico Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adrián Balboa came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Garabas San Pedro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Balboa couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Garabas San Pedro's zone, Constantino Torrente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amato Teresa came out of the goal and Constantino Torrente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Anxel Ferrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Amato Teresa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Nunez hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Els Poblet AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pietro Dellasierra in the 86th minute. Constantino Torrente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amato Teresa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Adrián Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anxel Ferrer in the 97th minute of play forced Garabas San Pedro's goalkeeper Amato Teresa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garabas San Pedro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Els Poblet AFC.
