Valdarachas CD's Milton Ecija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Tarin in the 14th minute of play. Franco Encina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quique Aranzubia went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Aranzubia in the 22nd minute of play forced Malpartida De Plasencia CD's goalkeeper Franco Encina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Encina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Rapado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Malpartida De Plasencia CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eneto Ponte to maneuver through the defense. Tino Tarin struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Quique Aranzubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Franco Encina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tino Tarin made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Ximun Alcantara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malpartida De Plasencia CD and the Valdarachas CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Franco Encina was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Quique Aranzubia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quique Aranzubia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 63 played minutes Valdarachas CD got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Calatayud.
