Larpe Dorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Federico Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Bencoiechea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Federico Lozano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julen Cameno kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Larpe Dorado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Los Angeles's Xelo Vazquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Puig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leopoldo Bencoiechea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Lozano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larpe Dorado in the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot 27 in the game by Leopoldo Bencoiechea from a close distance when the talented Federico Lozano managed to make a qualified save. Los Angeles's players were relieved. Federico Lozano didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 30th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The supporters of Saladavieja booed when Los Angeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Carro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles's Aurelio Carro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Xelo Vazquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Puig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Larpe Dorado to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomualdo Huarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vinicio Puig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Los Angeles's goal looked a bit too open when Larpe Dorado came free, but Federico Lozano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Saladavieja got a freekick which was hit by Lolo Millán. Vinicio Puig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xelo Vazquez in the 63rd minute of play. Federico Lozano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Bencoiechea in the 67th minute of play. If Oliver Ballesteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Xelo Vazquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Oliver Ballesteros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladavieja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Angeles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Saladavieja's Oliver Ballesteros got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Saladavieja's Vinicio Puig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xelo Vazquez in the 74th minute of play. Federico Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Bencoiechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saladavieja's zone, Xelo Vazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Puig came out of the goal and Xelo Vazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xelo Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Puig having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Arnau Pais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larpe Dorado might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Lozano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Larpe Dorado ran back to his position shaking his head. Saladavieja's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
