Crescencio Menendez charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Crescencio Menendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Crescencio Menendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuri Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano De Paula in the 9th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Bennetuder's Tobias Vives slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio Puyol. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñiscola's goalkeeper Claudio Puyol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peñiscola's Claudio Puyol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Peñiscola from getting a goal against them. 1-1 became the score in the 22nd minute when Sigfrido Jorquera elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gonzo Dellasierra scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Puyol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Gonzo Dellasierra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Bennetuder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzo Dellasierra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Vives was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zuri Ibanez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Sarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Peñiscola's goalkeeper Claudio Puyol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobias Vives sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzo Dellasierra struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Claudio Puyol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Bennetuder. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tobias Vives scored 4-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Puyol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cipriano De Paula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80th play minutes Gonzo Dellasierra shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Claudio Puyol and just under the crossbar into goal. If Cipriano De Paula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Peñiscola's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Vives came free, but Claudio Puyol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cipriano De Paula got free with Zuri Ibanez in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zuri Ibanez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano De Paula in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the CA Bennetuder players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
