Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Benigno Salazar managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Arbuniel CF's Cristiano Barro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristiano Barro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cuevas de Provaco's zone, Cristiano Barro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Salazar came out of the goal and Cristiano Barro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Azofra in the 17th minute of play forced Cuevas de Provaco's goalkeeper Benigno Salazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cuevas de Provaco's Zoel Olmos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Cuevas de Provaco's Benigno Salazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cuevas de Provaco from getting a goal against them. Zoel Olmos charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoel Olmos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cuevas de Provaco's Zoel Olmos got a free kick in the 29th minute. Samuel Azofra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Salazar having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Elpidio Camacho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arbuniel CF and the Cuevas de Provaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristiano Barro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Benigno Salazar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Samuel Azofra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Salazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Azofra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cuevas de Provaco's Benigno Salazar got control of the ball when Cristiano Barro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Zeledon Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cuevas de Provaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Pardo couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Azofra was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cristiano Barro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arbuniel CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Barro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Salazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Azofra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dante Orozco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuevas de Provaco's protests and gave Dante Orozco a yellow card for diving instead. Dante Orozco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Cristiano Barro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benigno Salazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Cuevas de Provaco's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Azofra came free, but Benigno Salazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Samuel Azofra came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arbuniel CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Azofra couldn't finish the play. Samuel Azofra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Salazar having to interfere. Samuel Azofra struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Benigno Salazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arbuniel CF. Benigno Salazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Azofra in the 75th minute of the match. When Zeledon Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cuevas de Provaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Pardo couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Cuevas de Provaco's Zeledon Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Taio Ricoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
