The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marin Muelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pedro Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Alfaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliu Bouzon's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Pedro Alfaro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Puerto Alto's Eliu Bouzon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Iñaki Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Llorca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Reina in the 34th minute of play. When Manuel Ballesteros fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciorraga AD's protests and gave Manuel Ballesteros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Manuel Ballesteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliu Bouzon in the 36th minute of play forced Ciorraga AD's goalkeeper Pedro Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Ballesteros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pedro Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliu Bouzon in the 53rd minute of the match. Pedro Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliu Bouzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marin Muelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Eliu Bouzon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Alfaro. Ciorraga AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliu Bouzon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Claris Zafrilla's late challenge caught a Puerto Alto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claris Zafrilla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Ciorraga AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claris Zafrilla to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Manuel Ballesteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute of the match Juan-Carlos Solano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Alfaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eliu Bouzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Alfaro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Eliu Bouzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliu Bouzon in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Alfaro saved Ciorraga AD from getting behind. Eliu Bouzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Buenafuente in the 98th minute of play forced Ciorraga AD's goalkeeper Pedro Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puerto Alto's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
